Overview
Purpose
Our purpose is to provide a safe guided tour for any level of white-water rafting enthusiast. Even if you are new to the sport or looking for a family friendly ride, we can provide a safe but also exciting tour. We have many certified rafting tour guides on standby ready to provide you with the experience you are looking for. All our guides have reviews and information so you can pick the best person for your next adrenaline filled experience. Think of it as Uber for guided white-water rafting. We provide all the information, tools and equipment, all you have to do is book when, where, and with who you will be rafting with.
Audience
My target audience is someone planning a white-water rafting trip. They maybe lack the experience to plan and guide a trip with family or friends and keep everyone safe. They will middle to upper class between the ages of 25-50. They love the outdoors and seek out exciting experiences. They want an easier way to plan a rafting trip. They need a one stop shop that will take care of all the gear, rafts, shuttles and guided knowledge of the area. They will most likely seek us out on desktop or laptop computers but some my have the need for a Mobile web page or app.

Typography
Heading Font: Comic Sands MS
I picked this font to keep some fun in the site while not sacrificing readability.
Paragraph Font: Verdana
This font is, in my opinion, is the most readable font out there. I don't like reading anything with Serif's.
Normal paragraph example

Colored paragraph example

Navigation
Site Map
The Site Map of a site is just like it sounds…it is a map of the pages in a site and how they are related and linked together. From the map above we can see that we will eventually have the Home page and 2 sub or child pages.
The lines that connect them all together indicate that each page should be accessible from any other page, it is essentially showing us the global navigation for the site.
Wireframes
Wireframes are like blueprints for making webpages. They should show the major sections of content that will be on the page and the relative locations of each element. In the wireframe below you can see there will be 6 sections to our page:
- At the top we have a section with the logo (the box with the mountain means an image) and the navigation bar.
- Then there is a banner image that stretches all the way across the screen.
- Next we have some text and an image
- ...followed by another row made up of an image and some text.
- Then one more section of text with no image.
- Lastly, a footer containing a copyright/name line and 3 social media icons.
